How to Use
てから is used to say that one action happens after another.
🔹 Basic Meaning
- “after doing …”
- “once … is done, then …”
🔹 When to use てから
- When one action finishes first and then another action happens
- To show a clear order of actions
- Very common in daily conversation (N5)
🔹 Simple Examples
家に帰ってから、勉強します。
→ After I go home, I study.
ご飯を食べてから、寝ます。
→ After eating, I sleep.
シャワーを浴びてから、出かけます。
→ I will go out after taking a shower.
日本に来てから、日本語を勉強しました。
→ After coming to Japan, I studied Japanese.
